Latenode is an automation platform that bills differently from its competitors. Instead of counting tasks or operations, it charges for the compute time a workflow actually consumes, measured in CPU seconds. A workflow that finishes quickly costs little regardless of how many steps it contains.
The builder is visual, with JavaScript steps available where the standard blocks fall short — and an AI assistant that will write those steps from a description, which lowers the barrier for people who can read code but would rather not write it. Headless browser automation is included, covering sites without a usable API.
The billing model is the reason to look and also the reason for caution. Compute-based pricing rewards efficient workflows and punishes slow ones, which is a different optimisation problem than task budgets. The published figures mix monthly plan prices with a per-CPU-second scale, and it is not evident from the page which of the headline numbers refer to which billing period.
